The first two seemed to be enjoyed by readers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I love the history of the NHL. As a bonus feature to the OldProf\u2019s hockey site, about once a week I&#8217;ll create a small bonus trivia test to see how well Maple Leafs&#8217; fans know their team\u2019s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The trivia quiz for today focuses on Toronto Maple Leafs\u2019 leading scorers in the 1980s and 1990s. There are 10 questions shaped like a riddle. See how well you do. The answer key is below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10 Riddles about Maple Leafs Scorers from the 1980s and 1990s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are 10 Riddles about Maple Leafs\u2019 Goal Scorers. They focus on the team&#8217;s scoring during the  1980s and 1990s. Read each statement, then look below the 10 riddles to the list of former Maple Leafs&#8217; players &#8211; choose the one who fits each black behind the riddle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can look below at all the questions for the list of players who will slot into the space provided. I beat the record held for two decades by Frank Mahovlich of 48 in 1960-61 by six goals (I scored 54 that season). Auston Matthews beat my record last season. Who am I?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">___________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Question Three:<\/strong> I was the Maple Leafs&#8217; leading scorer in the 1986-87 season. I was drafted by the Maple Leafs, but also played for these teams: Montreal Canadiens, Minnesota North Stars, Dallas Stars, Vancouver Canucks, New York Rangers, and the Los Angeles Kings. Who am I?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">___________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Question Four:<\/strong> I was the Maple Leafs&#8217; leading scorer in the 1989-90 season, and I scored 51 goals that season. I have 53 goals that season. I might be better known for my many seasons with the Buffalo Sabres. It was my first season in Toronto after starting out with the Quebec Nordiques. I stayed with the team for a long time. Who am I?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">___________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Question Nine: <\/strong>I was the Maple Leafs&#8217; leading goal scorer in the 1995-96 season with 35 goals. It was toward the tail end of my career. I was inducted into the\u00a0Hockey Hall of Fame\u00a0in 2001, and have been the Hall of Fame&#8217;s Selection Chair since 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">___________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Question Ten: <\/strong>I was the Maple Leafs&#8217; leading goal scorer in the 1998-99 season with 37 goals. The Maple Leafs were my first NHL team, but I played most of my career outside of Canada.
